Charleston Part 2

The historic area of Charleston has a wonderful yarn shop: Knit. We had a good browse around the shop and met the schnauzers in residence. Everyone at the shop was welcoming and helpful.

Two of us bought Interlacements "Rick Rack" and we are both making Clapotis.

Yes, well I thought the shawl in the shop was pretty too and I would start with that pattern. Remember she said there was enough yarn for two shawls. So away I went on the scalloped afghan pattern. Oh boy, here I am with about 14 inches done and the pattern is so dull and I really can't see why I thought it pretty in the shop, AND I found a mis-stitched bit in a row about 2 inches into the darn thing. How in the blazes could all those grandmothers make about a bizzillion of these - it is so mind numbing! I am starting over with Clapotis and giving that knitting time up to the cosmos. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well, Clapotis is not the most exciting pattern ever, but it is fun to run that stitch every 12 rows!
